I totally understand you! It seems like it takes forever to get her shop. Especially if you only have 1 human character in your town.
But I think if you have some friends, who also play Animal Crossing: New Leaf, they can visit you, so you could get it faster.

Visitors can come get readings, but they will count towards their own town's 20 readings; only your mayor or other characters in your own town's readings count for your town.
