I don't have the Fortune Teller Shop yet so I need visitors to get their fortune told to help me unlock it! I don't have many bells/rare items but I do have the T&T Emporium so you can buy whatever you want from the shops if you help me

I don't think that's how it works to be honest I read somewhere that you yourself have to get your fortune told 20 times in order to unlock it. However, you can use your mayor & extra player characters together to get the fortune shop unlocked (i.e. you can get your fortune told with your mayor 10 times and 10 more times with an extra character and it'll unlock).

Katrina only counts visitors/characters that live in your town so only up to 4 can count a day (or more if you keep deleting and recreating one).
