Kapp'n's Dad?

So my friend and I discussed this a while ago, and we think that Tortimer might be Kapp'n's dad.
Yeah, I know he is one of those cucumber eating creatures, and that Tortimer is a tortoise, but in one of Kapp'n's songs about his dad, the description fits perfectly with Tortimer. He sings about his dad being funny, and some other things too which I can't remember. Also, where else would Kapp'n's dad be? Him, his daughter, wife and mother work on the island, so shouldn't his father be there too?

I don't know, it just all seems to fit in for me. What are your thoughts and opinions?

Makes sense to me. It's a family business they have there. Unless Tortimer is his step-dad? Ha.

Yeah it's pretty coincidental that Kapp'n starts his island after Tortimer's retirement isn't it..?
