Oh, wow. The same exact thing happened to me, in my first town.
I lost Maple due to not playing for a while. She was the only villager I liked.
So, I time traveled a ways forward. So, that I would have an actual reason to reset.
Annnnnddd....I reset, which started a vicious cycle of resetting every town, but I'm trying to stick
with the one I've currently got, now....

i think ill try to cycle to get maple again.. but i feel like it'll take a long time. i love my town now, and i dont care about the aesthetics of it anymore. im probably going to get rid of my paths and just make it mine for me and nobody elses.
