Julian the Smug Unicorn is Moving!

This little bundle of joy of mine has decided to move without pinging me, probably and most likely due to me not being able to pick up my 3ds the past two or three days because of school. I can't say I'm not going to miss him, considering he was a surprise move in that ended up being placed in a perfect plot of land and also that I had spent much lovely time with him the past few months or more. Therefore, I suppose saying this should make it clear that he is not original, but nevertheless he is still Julian.

Now to the actual giveaway itself ? I've never quite hosted a giveaway before, although I knew for sure I'd want to with Julian because he's precious to me and I would like to give him to a good home which i know for a fact will take care of him and (hopefully) love him as much as I do!

So the rules basically are: ​

• Post saying "please enter me!"
• In your post, also please include proof that he's your dreamie and a valid reason why you would want to adopt him to become apart of your town
• If the winner fails to respond in 30 minutes at most, I will have to choose another winner. I really need to get Julian out by tonight, any later then that is not quite possible.
• When a winner is chosen, I request of that winner to please follow me over to Julian's house without picking any flowers, running over flowers, picking up items scattered throughout my town, or venturing throughout my town without permission
• Please only enter if your account has been created before October 4th
• Last of all, have fun and please be fair and considerate to others!

I'd like to make it clear that I haven't exactly chosen a way to choose a winner yet. I have no idea if I'm going to use a random generator or not, but if this does not end up having many entries I will probably end up choosing a winner based off their dreamie statement and proof. I'll edit this post in the future if my mind changes, but in the end I hope this will be fair for everyone. I just would like Julian to have a good and happy home in the end!

On another note, Julian is now in the boxes. I'd like to end this giveaway tonight, probably around the next two or three hours since that would be best for me considering it's getting late where I live.

I would like to adopt Julian because for some reason he has been apart of my animal crossing game before he moved when I had a hiatus from animal crossing(school and tests ) Now I play almost everyday, and I would love to have him back again in my new town and make new memories with my little glitter<3

To be honest, I wanted Julian ever since I decided to get the game (which is fairly recent, I got the game while smash sale was happening). But due to his popularity and how much it costs to adopt him on trade boards, I never thought I could ever get him when I just started the game. Maybe when I'm more settled down and have tons of bell, but not soon.

I first saw him when I was looking through every AC discussion for information about the game, and that's when I found the Villager Trade. At the time, I was actually looking for Marshall, I remember how a friend of mine was a fan of him and was excited to get him, and I thought he's pretty cute. But, I also saw Julian's name (along with Ankha) popping up pretty often. Curious as to why he's famous, I looked him up. I went through his tag on tumblr, acnl subreddits, ACC and TBT. I found out that he's a blue unicorn with really pretty hair, and that he has a smug personality which tends to flirt with the player. I play otome games (otoge), and his design and lines reminds of the love interest in otoge. I thought, it'd pretty cute to have him, he sounds nice and really caring.

Fast forward a few days after I got the game, I got my first smug villager, who was Colton. I finally see a smug villager myself, and I thought they'd be self-centered, sort of like how Snooty can sometimes be. But I was wrong. I was surprised that the lines I saw from screenshots were actually said pretty often, and early too. I thought the "fine as a cucumber" was kind of funny, but the one that got me was,

"I don't need to stay in any official records, but I'd like to be a person who lives on in people's memories... If I can encourage or cheer up someone by being someone they always remember, that'd be great!"

And I remember why I played this game. To be cheered up by these animals who don't care much for my background, but always willing to be my friend and be there to make my day better.

I thought that was a really sweet thing to say.

Unfortunately, after a frustrating camp reset trick where I try to get the villager I want and a lot of TTing in the past, I realized I wasn't really happy with the town I have, and decided to reset.

In my new town, I was luckily able to adopt the villager I want (thank you PandaNikita <3) and was pretty happy with my town now. Now that I'm slightly better at playing the game and joining TBT where people giveaway villagers pretty often, I thought my chance will be better in this one to get him.

For my dreamie proof, you can see in my signature that I listed him there, I bid on him on this thread, and requested for him when someone offered to get people their dreamies in this thread. I admit it was little and all recent, but that's because I only decided to try to get him recently too. Like I said earlier at the start, I don't really expect to get him soon, because he's popular and would cost a lot in trades. Which is why, as I said in the second link, I'm saving up TBT and IG bells so I have a better chance at winning his auction. I'm not in any rush either because I actually want to get to know the villagers I have first.

...This is turning into an essay, so I'm sorry you have to read this long text OTL. The reason I'm writing a lot is because, unlike most players who played the game longer than me, I honestly do not have any special experience with him, and that's because I never got the chance to have him. Which is why I'm writing what I know and feel about him until now as best as I can, for a chance to meet him myself.

Granted, some of the things I said could apply to any smug villagers, but I hope that my words would convince you to let me adopt him. And if you do, I planned from the start when I put him on my 'Looking For' list that he'd be a permanent villager in my town, so I can make sure that I'll take good care of him; I'll listen to his request even though it'll probably ruin his room, and then send him new furniture to fix or make his room look better, I'll send letters, meaningful ones that I usually write to my villager (though I'm not the best writer and it just ends up as a 'thank you for being my friend' letter), I'll attend and celebrate his birthday, making sure he'll like the present I gave him, and I'll talk to him every day if possible, or whenever I can even if I'm busy.

Basically, what I'm saying is, please let me adopt him. I may not have the best reason there is, which is why I wrote this long text to compensate that. I would love for a chance to get to know him, I'll make sure he'll go to a good home.
