Julian or Marshal?

I fail to see how someone to choose a plain white squirrel over a fabulous gay unicorn but a lot of people do and I'm interested why

You know, I just recently learned of Julians EXISTENCE. Before I joined this community (4th of August), I didn't even know he existed.
Anyway, I like Marshal more. At first, I also didn't know why he was so special. I thought he was kind of... ugly, actually. BUT NOW. I got him to my town, and I now know that he's the most adorable thing ever!! (He, and Stitches)
Especially when he smiles, he looks so happy and cute, and his personality (smug) is so fitting. He's a little squirrel, so when he acts all flirty and stuff, it's just too dang cute. Yeah, he's never leaving my town.
I don't have anything against Julian, in fact, I kinda want him in my town. It's just that I don't want to let any of my current villagers go. It pains me just to think about it.

Definitely Marshal. I'm not a big fan of Julian, mostly because his name makes me think of Julian from Trailer Park Boys >__>

Well, I didn't have to choose, I just got them both

I was never very interested in Marshal when I first saw him. Then I visited him in some dream towns and decided I really wanted to give him a try. Now I adore him it's difficult because I love so many smugs, at some point he may well move on to make room for another....can't imagine letting Julian go. So I guess I do have a preference. They're both incredibly cute and over the top...Marshal is such a geek whereas I see Julian as the fabulous one

Marshal! 1 because I'm not a big fan of the horse villagers (even though Julian is a unicorn...) & 2 because Marshal is like a cute little animal who you just wanna squish his cheeks but he gets agitated while you do (but deep down he loves it)

Julian was in my very first 10 villagers and I never knew people wanted him badly.
I sold him off in the end, but to me he's just a normal horse who was there at the start so I do have a spot for him inside of me
If anything, I feel like he's too fabulous for my town.

I pick Marshal cus he's a grumpy marshmallow with a watering can and smol and gets lost in white lillies.
I agree with ^ post, I really enjoy having him in my town.

I dunno why, but I prefer Marshal. I like calling him an Anime Marshmallow Squirrel. He looks like a freaking otaku, to begin with, and with how smugs like to talk about how much they like anime music, well, there you go.

Ah,ok.I had both of these smugs at one time and I remember liking Marshal right off the bat but I thought Julian was just okay.I didn't like Julian's always-closed eyes and at the time I wasn't crazy about the horse villagers.But it was still a good experience having him in my town for a while.I gave him to someone on ACC that had him listed as a dreamie so he found a good home.You can visit my Marshal here if you want.He's not all original but he still has most of his furniture left:

I don't like the horse designs and think the squirrels are cuter in general. So that is my reason, but I don't have Marshal even though he was in my town because I only want one smug, and that is Beardo (so I let Marshal go).

I don't like having another smug in town. I do actually have Julian in my other town because of the theme, and I like unicorns. But the squirrel design is still cuter.

Yeah, the idea of a unicorn is much more magical than a squirrel, but white squirrels are rare and magical too.
