Judy won’t respond to my emotions?

I don’t know how high your friendship is. Did you talk to her many times and gave her presents?
I know from another user that he had the issue that his Villager did not talk to him at all. Like he tried to talk to him, but there was no response or dialogue. Eventually it fixed itself the next day.
Maybe it’s a temporary glitch?
Did you try the Camera App + some Emotions? Does she respond to them?

No problem. I know for a fact that there are way more glitches in this game, some more harmless than other ones. Like my Peppy Villager Sprinkle who changes her clothes permanently, until I talk to her or go into a building and leave it. Then she acts normal again.

I just assumed it was a snooty villager thing. I have 2 and in my experience they only sometimes react to my emotes, not nearly as often as the other personality types do.
yeah maybe snooty... my cranky characters never ever react no matter what i do its weird !
I was just about to post about this earlier today as I was wondering the same thing. Diana on my island, which is a Snooty type like Judy also did not respond to most emotes, except for the amazed one. If she reacted to any other, it was just a smile. I don't remember if she was always like that, or if a recent patch affected snooty types as she responds normally when interacting with other villagers.
When I was island hopping, I ran into Judy and she also ignored most emotes except for amazed. Some of the cranky villagers I ran into were the same way, but not all cranky ones. I'm thinking if it is bugged, it may be bugging a certain personality sub-type.

willow and diana doesn’t imitate most of my emotions too omg... looks like it is a snooty thing
I have Whitney and she reacts to my emotes e.g. blushes or claps with me when I'm clapping and acts surprised when I sneeze. It seems like not all Snooties are unresponsive. Doesn't look like it's related to subtypes either since Whitney has the same subtype as Willow mentioned in this thread.
