Do you guys know this YouTuber? He does a lot of Animal Crossing in his channel.
I really love his make-believes, were he imagines how Animal Crossing could look like in the future!

He recently stated that he will continue with his dream diaries and his make-beliefs. He puts so much efforts into his content, he's really worth checking out if you don't knw him!

Anyone else who loves his videos? I always watch his dream diaries when I'm having a bad dayor when I can't sleep. I'm so happy he continues with Animal Crossing!

And yeah, the content is good. He recently apologized in a video a few weeks ago tho. Maybe he changed? :/

i used to watch him a few years ago when i first picked up acnl. none of my friends were playing the game because it had been out for a year or so? before i picked it up, so i was watching playthrus like his and chugga's. i even watched his tomodachi life ones despite never wanting nor owning the game. stopped watching because of all of the gross controversial/drama junk josh got himself into, basically forgot about him until this thread.

If only his decency as a person matched the coolness of his creations. It's really hard for me to separate an artist from their work. His stuff is really good, but he...isn't. I stopped watching him a while ago because of all the messes he got himself dragged into.

That said, may I ask what he did that makes people that angry?

Basically, he can act quiete childish. When he has an opinion it’s always the right opinion. Others are wrong. If he gets criticized he blocks the persons/ deletes their posts. And he rambles about certain fandoms. That’s what I knew and yeah, I can live with that. I had no idea about the other stuff.
That being said, his content is very good, creative and usually there’s a lot of passion and effort behind it.

Of course! I have seen both full-length videos and the preview when it came out in the stream.^^
The real game probably wont be THAT pretty but I will already be crying if it looks like the Mario Kart track.✿

Well...he had a bad habit of using his twitter to go after other youtubers who were more popular than him. These were people that did nothing to him and said nothing about him, they just talked about things he didn't like.

He burned a Marina amiibo because she's black, then tried to cover it up by saying he only did it as Team Pearl Vs. Team Maria 'joke'. https://i.imgur.com/wCR9mot.jpg

There's plenty more but...yeah. Overall, his creations are great, but he's just...a not nice person.

I don?t feel capable to judge him based on these pictures without having the full background, but everyone is different and I don?t know how involved you personally are.

However, I think we all should probably leave it at that. This thread should be full of pretty art and not such sad content.

I liked his old videos from before the United States got New Leaf & thoroughly enjoyed how he laid out his towns, but I've never liked his personality and he seems to be very hostile with anyone who holds a different opinion from him.

That aside, he really does put a lot of effort into his make-believe! His ideas are also pretty neat and something that Nintendo could do. The hot air balloon is a great idea as Animal Crossing had different kinds of transportation over the years. The toolbox is a must have. I always have six spaces taken up in my pockets that are tools so having a toolbox would only take up one space to accomodate more space for your tools.

Sadly, Nintendo doesn't really take ideas from their fans because they could face legal issues. So it seems like his great ideas would go to waste...

He did/has. But it isn't an excuse to treat people poorly or differently based on their opinion, personal or political. I suffer from depression, but I don't lash out at people. If I did, I'd definitely be seeking more help than I already am.

Nintendo removed him as a sponsored creator (or whatever they're called); I think it was because he published his videos on an unreleased Yoshi Game (Wooly World?) 2 weeks before its official release, and Nintendo don't like people spoiling their games, so he has even less of chance than usual of getting his stuff picked up by Nintendo...

His stuff looks like it's actually Nintendo trailer pitched content. I'd still watch his stuff, despite whatever it was he did. I mean people still listen to Beetoven's works, despite him being an incredibly difficult and bipolar man. The art one creates shouldn't be held accountable for them as a person. If you like their art, so be it. It doesn't make you a bad person. You aren't advocating their actions.

With that said, man I would probably buy this game in a flash if it were true and fleshed out.

He was a big part of my child hood, now I watch him every once in a while, still a great dude though. Definetly recommend watching him
