Japan's prime minister Shinzo Abe has gotten involved in a scandal where there were low funds given to build an elementary school in Osaka and the education group involved operates schools where the children are taught slurs used against Chinese and Koreans as well as ultra-nationalist views. Abe said that he would both quit as prime minister and a member of the Diet (the Japanese equivalent of parliament) if it was discovered he was involved.
