I'm pretty sure Travis is right... I know for a fact Gamecube games are region-locked, meaning American games won't work elsewhere and vice-versa. I think Wii is the same way.

DS games will work on foreign DSes though.

Yes, they sold some Japanese Naruto game in Pamida before it closed....
