Jacob's Ladder

I played to that game for several years already, and today was the first time I got a Jacob's ladder even if my town had a perfect status since a while. All Jacob's ladders I had so far were bought here on the forum. Yesterday, I decided to hide all of them in my locker to see if it was like mushrooms in November, if the fact that I had a lot of them already wasn't the reason why I couldn't have more, and coincidently a new one appeared today. Is it how it works? Is there a limit to how many you can get?

I think I read from MasterM64 that you can only have 14 at a time, but I’m not sure if I’m remembering the number right. I have a few decorated around town, I think maybe 11-12 of them. But any time I see a new one by the cliff I put it in storage. Sometimes it won’t pop up for weeks though. I think I’m quite unlucky with those spawning.

I had never gotten one in 4 years and have the perfect town every day for more than a year (and had also cleared up near the cliff). That's so strange. I hid that one again and will see if another appears soon.

That’s pretty much the same with me but for rare mushrooms. I’ll get the ocassional Jacobs ladder but during my years of playing I’ve only gotten the rare mushroom once or twice.

I got plenty of rare mushrooms, I started hiding all mushrooms to get the mush furniture in November, then I got them more often, even 2 a day, more than once, especially in November.

I used to hide mine too to get more to spawn. It's the only way. Very tedious, but they're pretty so it's worth it.
