Don't be afraid to say an offer is too low when you're selling something. I didn't really know what it was when I made the offer, just that I didn't have it yet. Apparently it's a pretty rare item you can only get from your villagers if you're lucky, so that makes 50k way too low. I too don't really know what to offer you, but I'll offer 500k now.
