So basically, I've not touched my DS in over a week due to me playing on my gameboy, but I have loads of my dreamies!
What should I do? Is there a way to make sure nobody leaves?

you could always time travel back a week on your system and never EVER set it back forward, its a small price to pay to keep those dreamys!!

If you got pinged for someone to move on the day before you didn't play (ex: someone pinged Monday and you did not play at all on Tuesday) then no one should be moving out if you load your game today. If you cant remember or no one pinged start a new character then check to see if all your villagers are there and check to see if anyone is in boxes (go into every house, and clickk on ever door to look for boxes or a move out sign). If no one is in boxes or has moved out it is probably safe to load your mayor. If someone did move out or is in boxes TT back to the date you last played and go forward one day at a time checking all of your villagers. I hope this helps <3

Deny a villager to move, then save and quit. No one can move until the next time you boot up your game. That's how I take hiatuses without risking the loss of a villager.

Right, Chevre had left when I created a new character.
Do I change my 3DS system clock or in game?

Does the ingame clock also need to be changed or just the system one?

I say if you have your dreamies and you've done everything else, why not start anew town :P

Because I've had this town since launch day, and I've worked really hard on it :)
I'm planning to get a seccond town soon!

This topic has me wondering something, if a person finishes everything they would ever want to do in their town, and they never want to visit it again why save it? This is not poking at anyone in particular, its just something I have noticed on the boards. I have always felt if I am at that point, its time to reset and start again. But maybe I am in the minority.
