I got to wake up around 7 am to go to band camp for a "Freshman Refresher" day. And since I am a section leader, I had to go
If you don't live in Texas where the heat is so bad and humidity makes it worse, be thankful. Marching outside for 2 hours really takes a toll on people (even in the mornings).
But, all in all, the camp was a success. We played "New Guy Games" which really got the leaders to know the new section members, which I enjoyed. I think the new kids had fun, too.
But now, it's almost 6pm.. And I'm friggin sleepy as heck. Laying down only makes me want to sleep more, but I can't go to sleep because today is my 1 year and 11 month anniversary with my boyfriend, and he wants to go eat and see Cowboys & Aliens. So no sleep for me! -.-
Today was a good day for our band, and I can't wait for the real marching to start on Monday!
