I'm more fond of my Wii U. an escape game is more my forte than a puzzle game like Tetris.

I like the desert game...although easy.

I don't love the puzzle game. It bores me.

i like both o them but i think i like desert escape just bc i like lookin at my villagers and their lil expressions

yeah that's fun too . Both are really mini mini mini games but still fun enough for an escape within an escape.

I enjoy em both, but Desert Island Escape is my favorite mostly because I've been more into strategy games.

I would like the puzzle one if you could move them up and down - as it is it is too limited to be fun.

I like them both, but tbh, I sort of suck at both of them, lol. Puzzle League is easier to deal with, though, because the games don't take as long, if you do it right. A level of Desert Island Escape takes forever, and I've only ever reached the target score on the first level, can't get it on any other level no matter how hard I try.

I like the desert island escape game, but like a user mentioned above, I too really suck at it D: I've only managed to reach the top score twice. I wish I had amiibo cards to play with so I can use other animal talents, but so far I've been getting by with elephant, deer and duck (both deer and duck are the same talent I think) for like 5 stages :'D for some reason I suck more with any other combo.

I like desert island escape better, i use amiibo with it and it's cool planning the best teams and I find it more fun overall than puzzle league.

It took me quite a while to get the final item I needed in puzzle league (the umbrella) and I'm so glad I never have to play again :p. Unless Nintendo updates it or something.

i love both
but.... i like more puzzles because i just love puzzles

I don't like the puzzlegame, but I love the flower fairy gear *_*

While both the mini-games are a welcome addition from the latest update, I prefer the Puzzle League one by a wide margin.

I like the competitive and strategic aspect of the puzzle game a lot, as they reward anyone who's swift enough to rack up combos and chains. The game's being fast-paced also helped a lot on to retain my attention for long hours, even though it's meant to be played in short bursts. My only complaint is how the story mode has some weird learning curve before going from a bad to a decent Puzzle League player, since each stage switches between different modes.

Desert Island Escape still has some strategic values in it, but favors a bit more on the luck side than I would've liked. One design choice that bothers me a lot is that it's apparently meant to be a cash-grab. I'm forced to spend 2 Play Coins for each villager I pick from my town, assuming that I don't use the amiibo functionality. It could've allowed me choosing from my limited pool of villagers for free, while spending Play Coins on any villager that isn't found in my town. I dare you to defend this design flaw that only serves to waste my time even more than I really needed in order to enjoy the game!

I actually really love both!

Puzzle League is fast-paced and thrilling. At first I wasn't good at it, but as I see myself improving, I like the game more. I'm more addicted to it than Desert Island Escape.
Don't get me wrong, Desert Island Escape is super fun and requires strategy, which I love! I think that because Puzzle League has quicker rounds, I play it more often.

puzzle games are boring as **** lol i haven't even played puzzle league but tbh like what am i really missing out on

I prefer Puzzle League. I've tried both, and I dislike that you have to pay Play Coins for Desert Island Escape if you don't have amiibos. The game also takes much longer to play, and if I only have so much time to play AC:NL, I can clear a couple levels much more quickly in Puzzle League. I think I'm better at that one too.

I've played both now, and I much prefer Desert Island Escape. True, it's a bit annoying having to scan amiibo every time or pay Play Coins, but play coins are easy to come by at least. I find the game itself interesting and fun, and I spent hours in it the other night.

Puzzle League, on the other hand... The time limit thing makes it just stressful as opposed to fun. It's a cute game, but it definitely wouldn't hold my interest for too long. Which really sucks, as I love the items from it.
