So you know that annoying robot thingy that always stuffs her sorry butt in the town hall? Yeah that thing. She IS the mayor. That is her town. And WE are her slave. She is an annoying piece of numbers, pixels, and colors from MS paint. We need to overthrow Isabelle and send her to another dimension so she will never be seen again. We need to go on strike and rebel! Here are all of the unfair and stingy things this ignoramus mutt does.

1. Okay so first of all this is MY town, Isabelle. I can do whatever I want. If you won't let me do my **** in the town hall, then you have to get out, not me.

2. No, Isabelle. I've looked everywhere for a **** to give and I found 0. If there's a rock there, then why can't I remove it? This is my town, you sorry wannabe.

3. If I want this to be here, THEN IT NEEDS TO BE HERE YOU TOWN STEALER. I'm not gonna move the location of this PWP. Just because your dumb little brain sadly exists, doesn't mean that I can't run my town.

4. If you can't do ****, then why can't I fire you? You are not the mayor. Get out of here or I will obliterate you.

Isabelle really has no purpose in this game other than to look cute. The mayor could easily do all of this by themselves.
The villagers could give them tutorials on their mayoral duties or there could be papers laid on the desk telling you what to do.
You could be able to choose from a list which holidays and events to allow in town.
You can walk around town with your little map to set out PWP's.

In Isabelle's defense, she never rests and is always on duty so I think she deserves a little more credit than she's getting. Even when there is a holiday she is still standing outside ready to assist people, haha.

I'd much rather blame the PWPs than her. The thing that annoys me about PWPs is that if there's something (i.e. one of the permanent rocks) in the way that can't be removed, you basically just got your entire plan foiled.

I tried to replace one of my bridges to a different bridge, demolished it, then suddenly I can't place it because a VILLAGER'S HOUSE is "TOO CLOSE"????? it'S LIKE A MILE AWAY AND WAS PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE OMG WHY ISABELLE.
Needless to say, Isabelle will soon be fired, and that villager was evicted.

The ONLY thing that makes me mad about Isabelle is the stupid pwp thing. It is so annoying to place pwps and I get so frustrated with things being "too close to a thing".
