I had to recently start over on my Animal Crossing New Leaf game. I am in search of cherries as well as the perfect form of every fruit except oranges. Can anyone help me out? I can trade, or buy with bells.

I hope you don't take this as being rude at all, but do you know that you can't plant perfect fruit unless it's your native one? It's totally fine if you didn't, but if you did, then completely forget this post. :3

That's odd, I thought that you couldn't get a perfect fruit to grow on trees in your town if it wasn't your native fruit. I thought you could grow one if you obtained one.

Oh no they will show up, I don't remember exactly how though, I had one show up my first day in my new town, I believe it has something to do with either perfect towns or most likely harvesting regular trees for awhile and one shows up after some time? (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong)

Ok, so I can't get a perfect pear from someone and plant it in my town thats native fruit is oranges? I just assumed my town would never organically produce perfect pears bc they aren't native.

No, sorry, if you plant a Perfect Pear in your town when the fruit is an Orange, it will just become a regular pear. They can't sadly, that would in a way be broken, but at the same time nice to be able to access all perfect fruit.
