Island Shenanigans !

I've been spending a lot of time on Club Tortimer lately and I have to say..... you all are definitely a colourful bunch. Have you guys had any hilarious/fun/bizarre encounters on Club Tortimer? Let's share them.

Mine....

So I'm catching some beetles to fund my cafe project and this guy arrives on the island sighing and crying. And I ask him "Problem?" and he goes on to tell me that some girl stole his beans. (I'm assuming the beans you get for that JPN holiday and not an actual robbery where burglars broke into his kitchen) I mean this guy was in hysterics over these beans. He followed me crying and sighing and I was like "I don't have any beans! I just restarted my town!" so he ended up wandering the island crying into the ocean,

I don't even.

Well. That one day someone asked for money, I don't liked him so I said no! He started a tour to keep me on the island (I guess he didn't know about wifi switching off). I didn't care about him, so I was just going on wishing. He destroyed the whole island only for 100k (I just don't like people asking rude for money xD) He must get frustrated because after all that he just left the island xD What a weard guy...
Other people just followed me and scared my bugs or fish for fun. Or hit me with the net.

But I also have to say that I met my (now) best friend on club tortimer/island

I can't say I've had really weird or bad experiences but I mainly go there to look for items so don't stay long. It seems a lot of people have the same idea on the islands I'm put on.

I haven't been yet, but my friend went and some random person yelled at her "Wait! Don't move..." So she waited, unsure of what was happening for ca. 5 minutes. But nothing did... She then decided bump that, and went to go about her business, only to receive the same cryptic command again. No explanation. Nothing else spoken. She ultimately just ignored them. =}

When I got to the island last week some guy had decorated the every inch of it with flowers so it was like a big flower field that we frolicked through together lol

I've only met one really annoying person. She kept asking me to go on a tour with her.
When we started the tour she asked to go to my town. I asked why and she said because it would be fun.
The idea of having my town destroyed by a stranger isn't really what I call fun.
She started asking me for my friend code all throughout the tour and when we got back to the island.
I tried to leave but she opened the transfer basket by the counter.
Eventually I just told her my friend code and when she was typing hers I left as soon as possible.

It's sad that I have to trick people to leave the island.

I have tons of stories about CT. All of them bad.

There was one time that a girl asked me for 1mil and when I said no, she called me a bunch of rude names and tried to bargain with me. When I said no, she started counting down, told me to gtfo and then hit the wifi switch.

Then there was another time a girl kept asking me to try on my dress when I couldn't because it was a qr code. Then she started up a tour, and kept badgering me to sit down and when I did she told me I wasn't and that she was. She eventually called me dumb and I told her not to be rude and she was a brat who tried turning everything on me so I disconnected with her.

And then there was the time that I was trying to catch beetles so I could take them to another town's Bug Off to win the other set of the bug furniture. So a girl kept saying hello and I wasn't there to socialize so she started scaring off the beetles and then accused me of catching the one she was after when I was creeping up on it first. I got sick of her so I went on a tour without her and came back to a fresh island for more beetles.

Yeah...I don't like CT. I prefer to island hop because I cannot stand the immature kids who hang around there.

I've met a little boy on the island and he started saying things like "I LOVE YOU" ad "MARRY ME"! I went outside and he proceeded to follow me. He asked me for my phone number on the island which I found to be a bit weird.

There was this one boy who was dressed as a jester. He said "hello", started a tour and then freezed completely. I asked is he still there, but he didn't answer. Then he suddenly moved, opened his menu or said something to his friends, I guess. Now I knew the player was still there, watching, trolling.

I of course wanted to help him. He had obviously frozen, so I told him we need to get him out, otherwise he's never able to move again. I started to push him outside, and I could swear he was helping me a little bit. There I encircled him with holes, flowers and fruits and told him he will get better soon because this spell will make him alive again. And if it doesn't work, oh well, bugs will eat him and then at least I'm able to leave.

I waited for a moment and then he suddenly moved again. He ran to the door and was confused, asked where he is. I said something to him, but he answered that he's sorry, he can't speak English. I think he lied... otherwise I had just talked nonsense 15 minutes to myself. I asked him to cancel the tour and he was surprised when he hear he had started it (yeaah...)

I hardly go on club Tortimer but my first time I went to the Island I met a nice girl who went on the maze tour with me and helped me find the last fruit cause I had no idea where it was, I thought that was really nice of her.
The second and last time I went to club tortimer there was a boy on the island and he just ignored me when I tried to talk to him so I left.

I was on the CT island just (worldwide for once) and I met a Japanese girl - she knew some english but I had to type very short sentences which I was okay with. She was really nice and we talked for a while in english... I explained that I don't know as much japanese as she knows english but I hope to be fluent one day x3

One time I was island hopping, and it was hilarious because I ran into 3 people that were from the same state as me. cx Me and one of the guys chatted a bit about how cool it is living here and such. xD

I haven't ever had any bad experiences there yet. One time a kid did ask me for some bells, but I said no and he was like "ok".

Well, I once dug the whole island full of holes with one girl, but I made a path to the center of the island, and left a small path around the island. And then I filled the undug parts with flowers and coconuts (and some times bananas).

Then there was these two guys on the island who didn't appear very smart, as one of them got mad at me for no reason whatsoever. And then the two left. And another boy, who wasn't very old, asked for money, and I said that I didn't have any one me just to get him to stop asking. And then he offered me 10,000 bells because he thought I was poor x3

But I let him keep it of course. It sucks when you finally meet somebody interesting on the island and then "Resetti" appears! But then again my wifi at my place kind of blows lots of times.
