Island Hacking

Hello fellow gamers!

Here is something I would like to share with you. A few weeks ago I visited the international island. I met a really nice guy from England there. He told me that a Japanese girl was visiting him right before I entered the island.
She was dressed like David Bowie (*lol* so he told me ) but here comes the thing that is quite interresting: as soon as she arrived she dropped six (!!) royal crowns on the floor.
How could she carry all those on the island?!

The guy then gave me two crowns because he wanted to share his new earned wealth. I gave one to my mum and sold the other one; someday I want to go to the Able Sisters and buy my own... :\

So what do you think of this?
Anything similar happened to one of you before?

I've had that happen before with blue roses. Some random Japanese guy gave me some on the international island.
He may worn a few roses to the island (must have made a few trips) and then placed them into his box.

I always seem to end up meeting little kids on the island. I feel so awkward - as if I should ask, "Does your mum know you're chatting with some random Scottish woman you've never met before?" .___.

Haha, well I just had one really bad experience so far.
A chinese dude was starting to spam "die die die die" and "you are dust" all over. He then constantly had his inventory open or chatted with the island inhabitants so that I could not leave the island. I finally had to pull the wifi switch.
As someone who is familiar with the internet and all the trolls that are lurking around, I don't really have a problem with such a behaviour. But just imagine this guy pulls his jokes on kids (had a kid that was 8 years for example). Horrible.

Ugh, I had a Japanese guy pull that on me once. Luckily I was just there to look for a silver axe so I had no qualms with switching the wireless switch. I've gotten more wary since then though.

This made me smile Yeah, I'm going to assume she wore the crowns to the island one at a time, placing them in her box. Probably not a hack.. but a really weird situation, no doubt!

Their TPC will say which country they're from. I don't know if China even has ACNL though. o_o

This is a weird question but how do you guys know it is a "Chinese" or "Japanese" guy on the island?

It says what country they live in on their ID card (as well as their mayor's name, the name of their town, and their dream address).

Also, it may show their name in Chinese/Kanji (Kanji is inspired from Chinese so techincally they are the same with minor differences.)
