Island Beetles

Hi guys! So I was looking in the forums and many of you talk about making vast amount of bells on the island, by bug catching and sorts.
However I've been visiting my island, and to no avail- I can't seem to find any beetles! So confused >~< Is there something I'm missing? xD

Go at about 7 pm. That's when they spawn the most.

after 7 is good. after 1130 is great! also, it helps to only have palm trees. the other plant life will spawn other bugs and those other bugs will prevent the good ones from spawning.
