I am kind of skeptical about even using this feature due to the fact that you play with people you don't know. If they get to see things like your TCP, then I will literally never use it at all. Please tell me that this is not shown to whoever you are playing with in Club Tortimer.

Oh no, I think using this feature will be a little bit too risky
My character's name is my real name and my town name is the real name of the city I live in. However, my sister has basically all of her real info on facebook and nothing has ever happened to her.

With that being said, do you think it will still be okay to use club tortimer?
Oh I see. My character's name is my real name too! But yeah in my opinion, it doesn't really matter and so far I've met some really nice people to go on tours with and they're usually very young too like 14 or so and I understand how it's risky for you but you should give it a try and see how you feel about it
I really don't think this would be a problem.
Even with your real name and location on your TPC, it is not enough information for someone to find you just like that. I'm sure there's more than one "Sarah"(or whatever your name may be) in your entire city.
Besides, why would somebody have any motive to find you out of the thousands of people on CT? It isn't even likely they'd check your TPC and even if they did, most of them won't even know your location is literal(some people name their towns "New York" and such, but that doesn't mean they really do live there.)
The game doesn't give any warnings about TPC cards and, to my knowledge, it never asks you not to use personal information. I am most positive that in any circumstance where they thought the TPC could potentially be a privacy issue, they would warn you about it.
It never hurts to be careful so I understand your hesitance, but I think it's very safe to say you'll be fine on Club Tortimer all you'd like.

The rules are the same as your own island. You can't take anything there. You can take things back FROM Club Tortimer, but only if you put them in the basket.
