Is this (potentially) a glitch?

So today in my island its raining and everyone has an umbrella on them except Lily and I have no idea why that is. I talked to her and she didn't say anything unusual but I found it really strange and I'm hoping this isn't a glitch!

Frogs never use umbrellas or raincoats, since they are amphibians. They're used to being wet! Octopi still do though, which is a bit strange.

I noticed that villagers either carry an Umbrella or wear rain gear.

In NL the frogs don't use umbrellas because they are amphibians, so I'm pretty sure this is intentional

Lol, this happened to my Lolly yesterday. It started to rain and she had her umbrella and raincoat on, but then out of nowhere she changed into her normal sweater. Idk what happened, because she also got stuck in the campsite plot (it was empty) and when I tried pushing her out, there was some invisible block preventing her from leaving. So she stood there in the rain doing nothing at all. I could talk to her, but that was it.

I saved the game and when I booted back up, she was in the museum back to her normal self

It's just Nintendo's little touch on the frog villagers :3 They didn't use umbrellas in NL either because frogs are amphibians, so they don't mind the rain like other species would~

My Lily does the same exact thing every time it rains. Everyone else has their coats and umbrellas, but there goes Lily running around in just her dress lol. I'm sure it's because she is an amphibian so she is used to being wet. I personally find it a neat little feature for frog villagers.

Yea I actually didn't know that, although I don't understand why the octopi use raincoats and umbrellas? Weird
