Some of my villagers are starting to say other villagers catchphrases? This started happening yesterday, I don’t know if there was an update or something but something’s wrong !!

That's normal, villagers will copy other villagers' catchphrases and nicknames and greetings. It kinda sucks lol

sadly it's normal =( half my villagers now say "ham-ha!" thanks to flurry...but they call me spud thanks to ozzie <3

It's annoying but you can speak to Isabelle to reset the villager's catchphrase to default. I'm pretty sure there's still a chance they'll pick it up later though haha

Scoot says honey now... Maple wanted a new catchphrase so I gave her her default one again.

This happened in previous Animal Crossing games too. It's annoying but completely normal.
