Is there anyway to hold more patterns?

So for the path I am creating I need ONE more pattern than I can hold. Is there ANYTHING I can do besides create another character in game? Because I really dont want to do that LOL. I tried switching them out without knowing it would change ALL of your paths.

So pretty much what I'm asking is there anyway to get around this? They are so close to looking perfect

Not that I can think of right off... Maybe having to pay another 5 mil to that greedy Nook if you want an upgraded house?
