And, no, I'm not saying "has there been anyone else with social anxiety at high school and not trusting any students at all or feeling like their school years have become the exact same the more they realize and now no matter what they think it will always remain the same", no, nunna that stuff. This one is about how I play video games.
I'm a purist gamer kind of guy. I'll buy from Nintendo, I'll buy from indie, I'll even buy from secondhand game stores. I'm not one to pirate until there's truly no way to consume a piece of media legally. Say, oh, for example, all of the copies of super paper mario ceasing to exist on the face of the earth - yeah, then I'd emulate it, but if there's still a bunch of A-OK physical copies of that (which I already got), then yeah, I'm buying them. The reason why Emulation is a last resort to me is because of playstyle. It just feels boring when you have to play with a keyboard and mouse, or just a controller, when the touch screen and Wii Remote is the coolest gimmick ever!
I don't own a computer. Literally the only way I communicate to here is with a tablet that has a camera too good to be used on this site. That and a Samsung Galaxy S8. So, yeah, I don't play any Steam Games, nor am I shilling out, like, $800 for a steam deck or a gabecube when there's a literal $80 NES and a $150 WiiU at the old game shop near me RIGHT NOW.
Another thing: I don't mod my consoles. Really, I don't see a point. I just really enjoy the simplicity of the Wii Menu, or the simple yellow HOME Screen on my 2DS. If I modded my console just to have an RGB light thing on it's notification light, or a custom theme with like, Bel Wild World, it'd just, I dunno, lose its charm to me?
And that's where my question begins: Is there anyone who likes doin' the same thing? Or am I just a crazy hobo who just doesnt play online and instead invites friends over to play. I dunno. Anyways heres gerson boom hes old
edit: how the heck did i not notice this was on the introduction board
oh well its on the gamers lounge now anyways thanks mods
