Is there any way to get rid of a tan?

This morning I went into my AC:NL data and saw my skin was tanned. I think it's because a little while ago, I stood in the island sun while waiting for someone to come back from AFK. (They were holding a bug, which forced me to stay because the boat couldn't let me home..)

There's not anything wrong with tanned skin in Animal Crossing, it's that my mayor is supposed to be me, and I wanted to keep her looking as accurate to me in real life as possible. So is there any way to get rid of my mayor's tan?

It should disappear over the time as far as I know there is no way to make it dissapear inmeadiatly, try to wear a hat to protect you from any more sun.

If you want to avoid tanning in the future, always wear an umbrella when you go outside It prevents tanning.

Oh, and the tan will slowly disappear by itself, if you just remember to cover up

Yes, it should! I was tanned yesterday, but I've been TTing a few days (to get some villagers out), and my tan is already gone. So just wear umbrella/wide rimmed hats and you should loose your tan soon!

I just found a Lacy Umbrella and Straw Hat in my closet, I'll be sure to use those to cover up until my tan goes away. Thanks for helping, everyone! It's a relief to hear it'll go away.
