Is there a way to keep bed hair in new horizons?

I haven't played the game in a few months and when I went back on my villager had bed hair, however he just reverted back to the hairstyle he had before. Normally in New leaf you'd have to go to shampoodle to get it changed back. Is there a way to keep bed hair in new horizons?

Yes, once you unlock it by not playing for a while it's accessible as an haircut through any mirror

It‘s an unlocked hairstyle in the game after getting it, its obtained by not playing long and you can get it again.

Oooh. I didn't know this. I had bed hair once for time travelling but I never really checked the mirror since April. I'll check it out later.
