Is there a way to get PWPs without so someone pinging you?

So, just went to see my pwp list.. There is a lot more there then I remember. A lot more. Some I swear no one pinged me for, like arches and sculptures... Usually I am so excited about getting a pwp, I remember. Has this happened to anyone else?

I looked at the list and saw stuff that I didn't remember. But since my brother is the mayor, it might just be stuff he didn't tell me about.

i have some too that I don't remember villagers pinging me for
I must have been button mashing (which is kind of weird because I always read the dialogue when villagers ping me??)

I have some that I don't remember getting as well, but I'm pretty sure that I just forgot them.
