Is there a way to find a certain player?

I'm pretty new to the game, and all I know is that you can only visit people after adding them to your friend list or if they are visiting the surroundings of your campsite.

But there is a player which I find very interesting. At first she bought items from my market boxes, gave me kudos couple of times and even helped me with event that time. After that I sent her a friend request, but it seems she never accepted it. I thought maybe her friend list is just full, so she never got it.

She has been quiet for a little time but she appeared again, giving me kudos. So how does she find me since we are not friends, or is there a way to find a player? Or is my character really visiting her grounds so many times?

I just find this very interesting! Enlighten me!

Check the Visitors tab, you can revisit anyone who gives kudo's or waters plants.
When you visit their camp you can friend request them.
