Is there a way to farm for reactions?

I want all the reactions, but didn't know that certain ones come from certain personalities. So I'm gonna have to wait to get my last villager till I have all the reactions oof.

Is there a way to farm them in this game? You know like how in new leaf you'd trap a villager in holes and wait till they ping you for a pwp? Does that work in this game?

Ok turns out all I need is the best friends reaction from a cranky, uchi, normal, peppy, jock, lazy, and snooty (which I have all in my town) and all of the smug reactions. So all I gotta do is get a smug villager to move in and get reactions from them. :3

Don’t know, but swimming at the edge away from everybody worked in NL. I just need the best friends reaction from a smug but dread having to get a smug and work all the way to that level.

I wish I knew. Just like Ras said, in New Leaf you could swim around in the ocean and then get out of the water and a villager would go over to you. I just need one more reaction. I don't know how to get it. OK, I think I know how to get the last one. Looks like I need to be best friends with Blanche so I can get the "Love" reaction.

I have the same problem. I need 4 reactions, 3 from snooty and the bf one from sisterly. I don't have either of those personalities now. I wish I had known about the bf reactions before I let paula move. Now I have to start all over with a new sisterly just to get that last reaction.

I had to make one spot revolving to get all the jock and then lazy reactions, as I don't like either of those villager types enough to give up a permanent spot out of ten. Keep in mind that the Nook Miles achievement is only 42 even though there are 44 total reactions, so if that's all that you're looking at, you may be okay with just revolving one missing personality type
