is there a limit to how many trees you can plant?

i read somewhere that if u have too many trees in your town, you lose or can't get perfect town status..? i have SO many trees and bushes it's a little excessive lmao, so i really hope that's not true.

In total, the town must contain between 110 and 200 trees, of any type. There must
also be at least 75 flowers of any type. At least 10 public works projects are needed, but the Dream
Suite, Fortune Shop, Museum upgrade, Town Hall designs and Train Station designs do not count.
There must be no more than 10 weeds of any type, no more than 10 items on the ground, including
fruit and lost items, and there must be no trash on the ground or buried under the ground.

That's what animalcrossing.wikia.com said about the requirements for a perfect town. I had
once the case that I had too many trees and that I had to remove some so that I got the
perfect town status. Maybe try to count the trees to see if you have the right amount of
them?

I'm not sure if I have perfect status now but I know I've had it in the past, but I'm just thinking that 110 trees sounds like A LOT. Is that the amount of trees you need living and grown? or is it like an over all just 110 - 200 planted trees that include the ones you have cut down?

I'm just imagining my town and I can't seem to think that when I had perfect town status there was anywhere close to 110 trees posted up. I could be wrong though.

You have to have between 110 and 200 trees in your town, fully grown, this doesn't
include the ones you have cut down. It sounds like a lot, but I think it's even possible
to have over 200 trees if you use every possible spot in your town where you can have
a tree. But I'm not an expert in this, as I only had two times the perfect town status so
far (never really cared for it afterwards).

I only know that other sources beside animalcrossing.wikia.com also said that you need
this amount of trees for the status.

Hmmmm....My one perfect town has only 5 pwps. EDIT: Oops! Make that 6. Forgot to count the Cafe.

some PWPs help with perfect town status, like the wind turbine, windmill, solar panel, flower bed, etc. so 10 PWPs isn't an absolute requirement.
here is a list of what PWP affects nature/livelihood, positively or negatively.

if you have too many trees, Isabelle will say there are a lack of developed areas. she will say this even if you have all 30 PWP slots used in your town! I think that upper limit is 200 trees, but I can't be sure because I don't have that many.


edit: I counted and I have about 120 trees, maybe up to 125. I have a perfect town with a few negative pwps (illuminated stuff, picnic blanket) but the rest (20-25 or so) balance this out for them to be negligible.

I had nowhere near 100 trees or 10 PWP's when I had a perfect town.

I got perfect town once I've reached 10 PWPs, 75 or so trees (plus 30 more if I count the ones at the beach) and about 100-200 flowers.
