Yes it is in the game, but the only way i could think of getting it by is if Nintendo sends letters again, because a hacker got the pikmin.

Thanks. I also saw Blue Falcon, another item thats not in the guide. Maybe Nintendo will send these as gifts over Wi-Fi.
