I heard a while ago that NP went under new management away from Nintendo. Is it the same or is it's content better? I hated the last few issues that I got of NP finding it biased to say the least.

Good (I need to proof read my titles. >.<) I'll probably re-subscribe.Bulerias said:Very improved. A lot more mentions of the competition... the head guy, Chris Slate, once lead PSU and Xbox Magazine, I believe.
You don't need to bash your own products to be baised.Kyle said:Of course it was biased. Why would Nintendo bash it's own products?
:lol:stormcommander said:Pretty much the same
Of course... there was really no problem with it before.
It's so biased it's not funny.stormcommander said:Pretty much the same

Yes, but little kids don't realize that their favorite magazine was only created to further popularize the Nintendo franchise.stormcommander said:Sorry, last I knew giving a bunch of games they liked a good rating was called opinion not "OMG THE END"

I really don't even see a point in NP. Why should you critique your own games, if you're just going to give the game a 213144213453453/10?
Guys, get a clue; the new NP is no longer biased because they have no connection to Nintendo anymore, really.
Regardless of new management, it doesn't mean that the baised reviews will go away.OddCrazyMe said:UltraByte said:Yes, but little kids don't realize that their favorite magazine was only created to further popularize the Nintendo franchise.stormcommander said:Sorry, last I knew giving a bunch of games they liked a good rating was called opinion not "OMG THE END"

And why not? The only reasons they were biased was because they were owned by Nintendo, and that obviously had some... monetary issues involved.Propaganda Man said:Regardless of new management, it doesn't mean that the baised reviews will go away.OddCrazyMe said:UltraByte said:Yes, but little kids don't realize that their favorite magazine was only created to further popularize the Nintendo franchise.stormcommander said:Sorry, last I knew giving a bunch of games they liked a good rating was called opinion not "OMG THE END"

Obviously it was created for the Nintendo franchise. Just like XBox mag... the PS one... MacWorld, etc.UltraByte said:Yes, but little kids don't realize that their favorite magazine was only created to further popularize the Nintendo franchise.stormcommander said:Sorry, last I knew giving a bunch of games they liked a good rating was called opinion not "OMG THE END"

She didn't say they don't understand what a review is.stormcommander said:Obviously it was created for the Nintendo franchise. Just like XBox mag... the PS one... And if "little kids" don't understand what a review is... their fault.
I'm not saying Nintendo did or would but, as an example, special interest groups can have the same effect as Nintendo did with ownership.Bulerias said:And why not?
