Is it worth it to get a second copy?

I've been wanting to make a creepy/horror-themed town for a while now, but really like the cuteness and bright colors of my town right now. I used to think it would be weird to own two copies of the same game, but going by what I see on the forums it's a pretty common thing.

So, for people with multiple copies, are you glad that you did it? How hard is it to keep track of two towns? Do you find yourself playing one more than the other?

I've been resetting for days and can't find a good layout on my second copy so I'm glad I didn't reset. However I think if you don't have hours to play every day you won't be able to keep up two towns .. If you need someone to hold your stuff you can just reset.

I have three towns. xD; It's just about the right number of towns for all the things I want to do.

In my opinion, it's "worth it" if you're getting what you want out of each town. If it's financially feasible, having multiple towns to make different theme towns or cycle or etc is really fun.

I also wouldn't worry too much about spending more time playing in one town than the other. After all, there's a loooot of things to do in the beginning of a new town, and then starting to plan villagers and landscaping is exciting too. Once the rush and excitement of a brand new town and concept is out of the way, I find that I go back to playing my older towns a lot. It depends on what I'm in the mood to do. Maybe I wanted to grow hybrids for a while, so I played one town a lot. And then my friend wanted a new villager, so I switch towns and cycle like mad til I find someone she wants. Then I had a great idea for a pathway, so I switch to my other other town and start working on that. I might spend different amounts of time playing in each town, but to me it's still worth it because each town is serving its own purpose and I cycle through being interested in all of them.
