To get the 10th villager out of your town, if you invited them from the campsite?

I invited Flurry a while back because I knew she was a cute, popular villager, and I was hoping to sell or trade her for a villager I actually wanted. And my gosh, she will NOT ping no matter what I do. I've tried introducing myself and ignoring her for a week, shoving her and hitting her with my net, and lastly I'm trying to befriend her and talk to her constantly but NOTHING works.

I've heard rumors that your 10th villager won't ping until another moves out, but I feel like that can't be true and I've done it before with Lopez, but he wasn't from my campsite.

Any advice? :(

I don't think that statement is true :/

I got Lucky out and he was my 10th villager from the campsite.
He pinged me to leave just fine

It might take a while. When I invited Stitches from campsite, it took like half year for him to move out.. But not always, cause Fauna wanted to move after like two weeks :D

I have had Keaton for 7 months. He is still the 10th villager, and has never asked to move.I just figured that it was impossible for the tenth to move.I'm happy to see that it can happen.Although, I would be surprised if he said he was moving since it has been sooooo long already.

Nooo don't abuse them that makes them want to stay more
Actually I really don't know if you can get them out .-.

Rory was my tenth and after 4 days real life tt he finally asked.

Abusing neighbors doesn't do anything. It's just luck. From what I've heard, it's harder to kick out campsite villagers than villagers that moved in naturally.

I'm starting to think that's 100% true. The only reason I started TT'ing is to get PomPom out a couple months ago, and she was a campsite invite.

I'll keep trying but I TT'ed about 4 months in game time to get Flurry out with no luck! The same 3 people keep pinging me.
