Is Cooking Mama a good game

If you want to cook then do itin real live so you get real food you can really eat!

See, the problem with that statement is, what if he/she can't cook? Cooking Mama is a good gateway for him/her to learn cooking. The same goes with Rock Band/Guitar Hero. Like the game so much? Play real instruments, it's even better. Unless of course, you currently can't afford some.
