Is anyone else having a hard time finding furniture?

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m having a hard time finding furniture. I have Nook’s Cranny upgraded, but they often seem to sell the same things. Most of which are small items you sit around. I can’t find any beds, tables, cabinets, or anything like that at all. I shake trees and look for messages in a bottle, but still only end up getting little items like baby pandas or cushions. It’s making it hard for me to decorate because I have a million little table top items, but nothing to set them on.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yeah. I think a lot of the “big” furniture in this game is craftable, or maybe some of it is locked behind future Nook’s upgrades? But I’m in the same boat, I have a kitchen that doesn’t have any counters right now haha. I’ve gotten some bigger items like beds out of balloons and by shaking trees, but tables and the like have been pretty hard to find.

I've found most all of the furniture I wanted, and had no issues with that, my problem is not having them in the colors I wanted. There's only a couple of color options you have access to on your island, and you'll have to buy from/trade with other players to get anything else. Plus, a lot of the good items are diy recipes. Seems like you have bad luck, something as little as this can really take the fun out of the game :/ decorating your house is one of the best parts of the series.

Same here! I have so many kitchen items but I cannot for the life of me find any counters or tables! I guess at this point everyone can just eat on the floor lol

Same here. My Nook’s Cranny sells so many kitchen items but nothing else. They have microwaves and dish washing racks like every day almost but no counters.

I haven't been able to find any of the log furniture recipes or the stone ones. I used to find rattan furniture occasionally but haven't for a while and don't have a single item from the cute series. I have four rooms in my house and only two have furniture! My main room has the wooden furniture and my kitchen has iron wood things.

I'm sad to hear that upgrading nooks hasn't helped!

I’m hoping it might be in one of the later upgrades that people have found in the datamine. Either new furniture or DIYs, and hopefully the DIYs will rotate out if that’s the case. I’m also wondering if maybe some of the old furniture sets will make a comeback in a future update. There are some pieces of the Ironwood set that I really like, but I think I’d prefer to have a Ranch series kitchen, or something similar.
