Inviting back a villager who moved away?

So I heard about that thing where the first 5 villagers will always have basic furniture no matter what vs a room that fits their personality. That bothers me quite a bit.

I really like Bones though. Was wondering if anyone was able to being back someone who moves away? I can get his amiibo and bring him back, but I wasn't 100%.

I can't say for sure, but I feel using an Amiibo should guarantee you get them back without having to cycle.

I don't think there's a huge cycle in this game? Not 100% sure, but a few days ago I sold Marina to someone~
About an hour ago, I was island hopping for villagers and found her again!

From what other members have said, they've had villagers move out and then see them again on the same day on their Nook Island Tours and are able to bring them back to their islands the day after they move out... I don't think cycling is in this game. So yeah! If Bones moves out you can scan his amiibo and get him right back in c:
