two questions..

1. Do you have to wait exactly 24 hours to reinvite your villager?
2. Also if you time travel after the villager moves in can I go back to present day or will that mess things up?

1. Just until the next day (starts at 5:00am)

2. After they moved in, time traveling shouldn't have an impact on anything. However, there was a bug where a new villager still had the exterior of the previous house if you skipped a day during the move in process. I don't know if this was ever fixed, so make sure you only travel one day at a time until they're out of boxes.

So if I time travel to tomorrrow (which will be the 3rd day stitches visits) and he agrees to move in and I come back to present day it should be fine right?

You'll want to time travel 3 more times after that: the first time the plot will be sold to Stitches, the second time stitches will be there in boxes and unpacking, and the third time Stitches will have finished unpacking and be walking around outside like a regular villager. At this point it's safe to time travel backwards.

You’re actually free to TT back when the villager is moved in and unpacking. I’ve done it a ton of times and it doesn’t negatively affect anything.
