Does anyone play indie rpg games like IB, Mad father and The witch's house? Personally I enjoy these games with puzzles that make you think outside the box. I really liked Ib the puzzles were fun to figure out and the story just got me right in the feels. I've played a lot more but not all of them were good.

Honestly I'm really bad at them, I get super freaked out by the 'empty house' atmosphere that most of them have. Exploration + vaguely threatening environment really scares me

I like watching LP's of them though! Ib's presentation and plot were really good. Mad Father I thought was a little cheesy, but great jump scares. Haven't watched Witch's House. Yume Nikki ofc is the king!

Yume Nikki spinoffs are also really good, love .flow.

hmm,,
starbot and oneshot are pretty cool. theyre fairly short games, oneshot is creepier because the game refers to you with your computer username and can even change your desktop wallpaper (so many people tell me its a virus but its clever programming...)
OFF is creepy and is much longer. ghost party is pretty good as well. ive seen cryaotic play desert nightmare (i think thats the title) and it seems pretty neat.

Yume nikki was frustrating I kept getting lost but I liked how they portrayed her dreams. I haven't played starbot and oneshot but I might play Oneshot later. BUT OMG I LOVE THE HORROR RPGS. I enjoyed Paranormal syndrome and Akemi tan so many jump scares and chases in Paranormal syndrome

I still can't get over how amazing the clock riddle on "The Witch's House" is. Even the ending is amazing because it's so twisted.
Yume Nikki became really enjoyable for me when I got deep into the theories. They're amazing. I've still yet to finish "The Crooked Man". I miss Ib. I should replay that, but with the newer versions.

I'm not into horror stuff, so most of those things aren't for me. but I loved OFF.
I also played Ib, but... eh. didn't really do it for me. it's an interesting game, sure, but not really my thing. I have a friend who is incredibly into it, though.

I was so angry when we had to feed the frog to the snake ~ HE WAS MY HOMIE. I shat myself when I first saw the crooked man I just ran but I never ended up finishing the game xD

i read that if you leave the game alone for like an hour (it HAS to be the active window), the witch will die and you magically find a bottle of that rose killer stuff in the grass.

i prefer rm games that are more visually pleasing/interesting like OFF and starbot. sadly, i dont really have any other game suggestions.
