In need of pokemon players!!

Here's the story I'm a freshman and I signed up for the comic book(nerd) group. The senior who runs this club says he's an expert pokemon x player. I challenged him to a pokemon battle
On Tuesday...probable is I have no ev trained pokemon or a good plan. Can anyone help me? If you can suggest my party or strategy and offer strong pokemon I would be so happy! Let me know what would you like for your help!

Other then that, there's so many strategies and nuances that go into pokemon battle I sometimes fall into a strategy blackhole reading up on all that. There is seriously so many guides out there for this game.

Have you ever tried showdown website sorry if it's against the rules to recommend websites but showdown is cool u can test different teams in a battle simulator if u r looking for a good team go on showdown test different Pokemon and then obtain them

I didn't say that but I will agree with that sentiment. People who use only legendary Pokemon are weak.

I do really think you should just stick with whatever your current team is, at the very least you should share them and we can possibly give you tips on what moves and items they should possess.
