Hi guys,
I am really really stuck. I had a bridge a the top left of my town, which I found really ugly because it is the gray stone one. I decided to destroy it to build a prettier one, but now, Isabelle just won't let me build it back.
At first, she was like there was a project work blocking. So I destroyed it. Then, since I have built the ugly bridge before a villager (Mint) went really close to it, now I just can't build it because it is too close. I am just really stuck because even if I go more on the right, there are more houses, like Freckles and Oozie's. And then there is another bridge. That ugly bridge was really strategic as I used to always pass by there. I am just really stuck because stupid Isabelle doesn't allow me to because it will disturb the villagers, but it won't since it was there before .___.

Any tip guys? you could check out the bridge position in my dream town (see profile), I haven't updated it since I destroyed it, so the bridge is still there. It is the top most left one ;_;
Am I obliged to make Mint move so i'll be able to build? I really don't want to lose a dreamie because of that....

Basically, you probably are :( Bridges are a pain in the butt to place at the best of times, and while there's a house or building or other object nearby Isabelle will insist on having even more free space than usual. Is there any way you can fiddle with your planned layout to make the bridge work in a different spot?

I tried EVERYWHERE, even on the other side of the map, there isn't ? singled spot where I can build the bridge ... ;_;
There is either a project work or a house too close....

I encountered the same issue recently, you'll need like a six square radius around the area to rebuild. I'll be moving two villagers out because of it :/ It's just a really broken aspect of the game.

In short, you just are stuck unless you move them out.

P.S. You may be able to contact a cycler or someone to hold Mint for you, you'd just need to do the 16-villager cycle for her too.

Yeah, I feel your pain; I have to get a dreamie out because of this issue as well. =/ There's really nothing you can do and it sucks. Sometimes it helps a bit to try from the other side of the river or push Isabelle one step to the left or right, but yeah, that rarely solves the issue. Sorry to hear about this. :(

I am so sorry to hear about this. I really want to take down a bridge to encourage a request for the fairytale bridge. I am scared this might happen. It not really fair that its set up like that.

Oh, goodness! That's not very good, is it? Hopefully someone will be able to find a fix for it!

Don't worry... I had the same thing happen to me. T_T I had three bridges in great locations, and when I tried to build them back, Isabelle wouldn't let me. Now I'm just stuck with one bridge in the middle of my town when I could have had three. So annoying...

I had the same problem. A villager moved in near the area I planned to put a bridge. Now I have a dreamie who moved in on the other side of the river, so even if the first one moves, I'm not going to be able to put her there. Now I have two bridges very physically close. So I suggest working to move out those villagers who're preventing your bridge, if you don't mind them leaving. So sorry to hear that's happened to you, but good luck on getting the bridge back.

Unfortunately, that sometimes happens, but it can't be helped. The only things that can be done are make Mint move or decide on a new spot for a bridge. I'm sorry :C.

Uuuuurg.
This is killing me.
I am so bad at cycling, I guess I'll eventually live without it ._.
Why did i destroy it?! D:
Thanks guys for helping me ;_;
