Im thinking of restarting

I want to restart my island completely i cant stand where my resident services is and where my private beach is but i have all the villagers i want and lots of stuff what should i do to prepare?

Just do it. Try another city, another life with a new fruit, a new map, everything new. Maybe you'll meet new good friends, it's a totally new experience I should recommend !

You might have find your villagers again, but if you're set on restarting, I suggest finding someone you trust to dump all your items you want to keep on their island so you will have them again when you start fresh. Good luck!

try finding trustworthy people (most likely 100% ratings) to hold your items + villagers !!

I restarted with a different map and I like it a lot better so I say go for it ^^

That's a good reason to restart imo. Having just the right map for you, opens up so much creative island construction. Just, like others have said, have a friend hold all your stuff.

Thanks for the feedback! I have some friends i can have hold my items and one can hold a few villagers for me so i should be okay!

If you know beforehand what kind of fruit, flowers, airport colour, river mouth location, secret beach you want that helps too! Of course if it's really specific it might take a while to get what you want, but a few hours of resetting for an island you love I don't think is too bad of a tradeoff.

Just remember your first 5 villagers houses wont upgrade so embrace the uglies lol~
