I'm so confused???

plot resetting Fang from my other town
and
the first plot said Fang. So I did the usual saving progress- and now- after I started up my Mayor, Groucho is there (at first plot) and Fang is in a different area??? I'm like 100% sure I cleared both voids so

Oh, man that's too bad! :< I've heard of villagers overriding one already moving-in sometimes. I'm glad that you at least got to still have Fang, but still very strange!
