Yep. My town layout is too... blah. I want an interesting one this time round. ^^
I saw a bunch of cute villagers (Merengue & Lucky) at the starting screen too.

tbh you just have to get used to it. i had doubts a few days ago about my town but now they are gone since i've realized the potential of my town. i have reset a lot of times though.
Hm, maybe. I think I'll try to get a map that really interests me so I won't reset so quickly.
Just so you know, the villagers on the starting screen are no indication of the villagers you'll get in your new town.
I know that, it was just nice to see them walking around.

Re-Tail is wondrously close to the beach, there's a butt-load of space for PWPs, and a cool private beach~
The villagers seem pretty cool, I've never had them in my towns before. Coach, Papi, Truffles, Hopper, and Tia are in my new town. ^^
Truffles' eyebrows kind of freak me out but I'm sure she'll be a great neighbour.

Aaaa you got Truffles! When I was resetting today, I got her 2 times, and I got her in my main town as a starter too.

I've reset a lot too, but I've found this map that is quite interesting to me.
It's not the layout a lot of people go for with the simple river, I has a bendy river!
