<tl:dr>Just read it. Really. If you feel lazy, the back button is up at the left corner. <tl:dr>

I had actually stumbled upon a Zygarde in Wonder Trade yesterday. I felt like it was a hacked 'mon, but I kept it. The next day, or today, I decided to check the IV's of the Pok?mon. The IV rater guy in Kiloude City said it was great in three stats. "Uh-oh," I said to myself. This isn't good. Plugging in the stats and EVs (not much), it said that all the stats were illegitimate, except the attack. About a minute later, I found that the Zygarde had HP (Hidden Power, for those who don't know competitive battling jargon, I've studied a little during the B2W2 era) Ground, which then brought up for all the six stats to be fake. *sigh* Psypoke calcs confirmed my suspicion. I dragged it over to the Box, and pressed "RELEASE". The hacked 'mon was gone forever. So I would just like to ask, "If you obtained a hacked Pok?mon not created by you, what would you do with it once you found out?" I'm just hoping that my other Pok?mon not obtained by WT are also hacked.
To the Mods: I understand the rules, however, this isn't a conversation about using hacking devices. I myself have not used cheating devices bar ones easily found by Internet (such as ones found on a forum) or in the device itself (ex. TTing in AC). You have full right to close this thread if it gets out of hand. If it doesn't get out of hand, however, I would prefer that this thread stay open so that I can see what others may have to say about this topic. Thank you.

Read the topic for question.

To Everyone Else: Please keep it civil or I may have to close this. Thanks.

I actually don't use pokemon I don't catch myself...
If i find that the pokemon i receive from wondertrade is hacked, i would do the same,
just release it. What is the point of playing a game if you want just hack it?

Didn't know people could make hacked pokemon already. I don't like hacking Pokemon. If I got a hacked Pokemon, I would probably keep it in my box and try to trade it to people at league with the clear understanding that it is hacked. People at my league don't care about hacks and hack pokemon themselves. I feel bad releasing them even if they are hacks (it isn't the pokemon's fault).

Legendaries and non-breedables can have perfect IVs in stats always from what I understand, so that part shouldn't have made you suspicious.

Uhh, 3 perfect IVs is absolutely normal in this game. All Pokemon that cannot breed (read: legendaries and babies) are guaranteed at least 3 perfect IVs. I don't know how you calculated the rest of your stats, but I'd have liked to check them myself as I'm pretty sue hacking isn't possible yet. Shame you released it.

Yeah. They have 3 perfect IVs in each stat at least. But are Zgarde's stats confirmed online yet?

They were all confirmed as invalid. ALL SIX STATS. That's a red flag.

Personally, I'd just leave it alone. I honestly don't care if I get a hacked Pokemon or not. I'd feel bad releasing things and if I really don't want to use it, I don't have to--but no reason to act like it's cursed or something.

Edit: As for calculators, I've seen so many conflicting information and different results, I wouldn't even really trust one just yet considering people can't directly look into the game and find out for the most part.

That's not it. The two calculators set me off.

Dang, I guess I'll catch it myself in Terminus Cave. I feel a bit sad, but I also kind of feel okay because it wasn't a legendary caught by me. :/

I think we all know what this means. Yes, I caught it. Now to see the IVs...

All of this.

Well, actually, unless if someone had already figured out how to abuse the PRNG, I myself would either consider that illegitimate. In my personal experience, that Zygarde would have been the perfect one, and would have taken an extremely long time to get. Either that, or it was hacked. But, that is just me.

As has been posted several times this thread, in X/Y, all non-breedable Pokemon (ie. legendaries and babies) are guaranteed 3 perfect IVs.

I didn't know pokemon could be hacked ingame at all.
I'd probably release the hacked ones if I had any.
