Self explanatory question. I have no idea how I'm supposed to even post this....but if you were given $1,000,000 in real life, what would you use it for? I'd spend a chunk of it on intense language learning schools across the world and dedicate my life to learning all the languages out there!! Well, maybe just like 10. The rest I guess goes towards housing and whatnot. I definitely want to build some kickass schools in Latin America!!
I would probably buy a giant piece of property and get a house custom built for me and my boyfriend, pay for things for my family and live well off the money. Maybe buy a heard of giraffe.
First of all I would help my family get some things they need. My parents are elderly & need a lot more help than they used to. And then I would help my brothers and sister and their families with things they need. By then the money would mostly be used up, but if there's any left I'd give it to a deserving charity that I would have to research to make sure it is legit.
I would move to the place I want to spend the rest of my life and buy a home there. I would trick out the home to be an awesome cat paradise with walkways and perches long the walls and ceilings. I would put a handsome sum in an IRA. I would give some to my immediate family and close friends. A lot of it I would donate to local animal shelters and help fund some games like Star Citizen or whatever else looks good.
I'd buy a really nice house in a place I like, grow and randomly give people fruit and vegetables for free, find a really nice man and travel the world with him. I'd really love that.
After taking care of myself and my family (house, car, money for life) I'd invest the rest and donate some to the schools so that they can get new books. When I subbed in my hometown, they were still using the books I used in school and that was years ago!
I would put 800k away for my future. (College, and housing.) 50,000, i'd probably splurge and waste it in a month. The final amount of money i'd donate to one of my favorite teacher's causes, a monkey sanctuary, and to other organizations that rescue animals and help keep forests and jungles around the world.
I'd run out real fast, since I'm good at spending but not earning
Maybe I'd invest in a financial advisor lmfao
I'd probs donate a lot to mental health institutions, abuse recovery institutions, other safehouses & stuff like that
I'd invest 400k in an oriental style home in a south or central american country with a housing market on the rise, 300k into a 401k invested diversely on a risk reward basis, 100k to spend on upgrading the finishes to the house that allow it to increase in value and then live off the last 200k comfortably over the course of my life while working a part time job. Ideally by the time I retired my home will have appreciated at a rate that exceeded the countries inflation rate, so I can then decide to continue to live there or pack up and move to another country having plenty of money saved when I cashed out the 401k.
Save 3/4 of it, pay off my loans, buy me a car (but nothing fancy, really) then spend all the rest on video games and clothes and every other materialistic thing I could think of. Then I would probably pay for college and get a decent job and live comfortably. Yay!
I'd use it as capital to start a business then when it grows big, that's when I'll spend it. I would buy a house for my family and also go on vacation with them.
invest some in the stock market, save some in the bank, treat my parents to vacay/cruise, buy some new clothes and games, donate some to my school, buy some art materials
