And by think less of me I mean drop down a friend tier?

I don't do requests for villagers involving packages, or buying items off me because I don't want them to crowd their houses up with rando junk.

I buy all the crap they want to sell me, because I love my derpy animals, and get them fruit and medicine, and give them furniture when they ask for it.

Does denying requests do anything for your friendship level? Has anyone tested and confirmed this?

Thanks folks!

I don't think they drop down a friend tier if you refuse a request from them, I haven't tested it but I remember seeing a post somewhere saying that it's okay to refuse requests from your villagers because it won't affect your friendship. I think it also said that if you say you'll do a request for a villager, but you don't do it, it affects your friendship then. But then again, i'm not so sure because this post was from a while ago. Hopefully somebody on here can confirm it! Although, it is better to refuse requests from them, if you can't get what they're looking for.

It might reduce your friendship level a bit but not by that much. I turn down requests all the time, it doesnt seem to affect the relationship that much.

Yea. I'm on the same page as you. I worry about turning down villagers and them lowering our friendship level. :S I hope someone who has tried it can chime in, as I want to know too.

By the way Skyfall, I love your signature! Very cute!

I wouldn't think so, often they say 'Y.eah I guess I should get it on my own.'
