I'm trying to complete the catalogue in this game, and thought of an idea for a service I could provide.

I have far more bells than I'd ever spend, so maybe I could offer to visit people's towns, buy the items in their stores that they want (and thus catalogue them), then drop them for them to pick up.

I imagine this would mainly be useful for people purchasing Gracie items (most of which I don't have catalogued yet, plus can't obtain myself for a while, having recently started a new town).

Would anyone be willing to make use of this service if I provided it?

I would, most of the time to complete sets that I want, like the Gorgeous/Princess sets and some items that Timmy and Tommy sell, too. But most of the time it?s to complete sets, too

I don't think I would use it much, but I think it would be pretty popular, your basically giving them stuff for free.

I would probably use it occasionally but I really do think it would become really popular with people trying to complete sets and buy Gracie furniture and stuff you should totally try it out and see what happens! c:

I'm sorry, I don't understand this service. So you go to other people's town and buy the items they have in their stores, then drop the item off for them? I'm confused. People can buy the items themselves themselves if they want the items. Why would you buy the items for the? I must have missed something.

It'd manly be for expensive items that people can't afford to buy themselves. I'd get the advantage of cataloguing it, they'd get the advantage of the free item

The only issue with your idea (it's a great idea otherwise!) is that it would be a bit of a hassle for people to check what's in their stores, decide they want them, contact you to come to their store(s), and drop them off. Plus, I'm betting that not a lot of people would be unable to afford items in their shops, even the Gracie items (since they have a whole season to do so, presumably). That said, I think you'll find a lot of people interested--but just not a crazy number. So go for it!
