It would be awesome if villagers could approach us and as for help redecorating their homes. We'd have the option to say yes or no just like with any other favor. I think the timing of this would be perfectly matched for when the shop gets its next upgrade and more furniture sets are added (I'm in the camp that 100% thinks that's happening).
This way we could get villagers out of their starter homes, and fix weird furniture quirks such as things facing the wrong way. We'd actually be able to give them the homes they deserve and fix any issues of them living in garbage dumps, back alleys, etc.
This x Infinity². Being able to customize villager homes more freely would be great. Was actually pretty salty after realizing my starter villagers will never have the interior they would've from a random move in.
I'd definitely love to reset their homes to their original state, some of my permies displayed their clothing or the bugs/fishes I've caught for their tasks. Don't want to kick them out and back in to fix that. Could also add more stuff to those that have pretty bare homes too.
Not only would this fix starter interior problems but it would also be nice to change original interiors I don't like (Zucker and Ricky being examples).
that would be great! I'm not a fan of the basic normal and peppy homes so I'd love to change Fauna's interior. Plus if they're gonna add more furniture into the game it would make sense for us to be able to add it to the villagers' houses instead of them being stuck with antique/rattan/wooden etc forever
I'm just gonna say I'm skeptical, but trying to be optimistic.
With a shop upgrade coming, and Cyrus making a return for the wedding event, it seems like furniture could very well be in the mix. I hope, I really do.
